Springing

My Grandpa sent me a picture of his garden. He is infamous in his town for the massive tulip bed that pops up every spring. He then proceeds to plant a regular vegetable garden right over the top, he says the secret is to plant the tulip bulbs unusually deep, so that he can till over them without disturbing the bulbs. It struck me as quite a happy thought when I saw the photo.

Easter was great at our house, despite the part where it was bitterly cold and a wee bit snowy out. Sir Oliver thinks this plastic egg thing is great!

Even though it's a lot of work, I'm finding I quite enjoy creating celebrations for my little family.

That IS a happy thought! It reminds me of fields of tulips in Holland (that I've only seen in pictures, but will make it there in person someday.) Thanks for sharing that. And cute cute haircut! I've only ever seen you with long long hair, I like it a lot!

I love the cheerios in an egg idea. I wasn't so creative. I just plopped a couple of jars of baby food in the basket.
