Everyone has been warning me about the brutal damp cold of the winters here around Philly. I believe them still, and am bracing myself. Perhaps it's a tiny tender mercy that this weekend the temperatures have still been in the 60's and 70's. We even went for a walk in the park on Saturday coatless (and obviously without a tripod).
I'm sure I will still witness my first ice storm this winter. But perhaps we'll be lucky and the brutal part of winter will be brief. After all, Mr Renn is nearly cold blooded. He is frequently seen looking ridiculous in a beanie hat and coat while indoors on cold days. (Still handsome, but ridiculous).
And if we're not lucky at least I'll have something to blog home about.

What a cute family you guys are! Who needs a tripod anyway, it gives it a "modern" look. I'm sure the bitter cold will come all too soon. We finally got a snow storm here last week, just after you went home I'm sure. But it made it feel like Christmas...about a week too late.
