Despite how it seems, I have NOT been encouraging this at all! I just wanted to make sure and catch it on video before he moves on to whatever comes next!
Next? What comes next is a baby following you around the house, eating every crumb on the floor, chewing on tidbits and shoelaces and carpet fuzz and sticking little fingers under doors and trying to open the kitchen cabinets and exploring fun things like lamp cords and outlets with plug protectors in them... Ah, gotta love the crawling stage!
Ah, well, it cannot be stopped. And even if it could, who am I to stop it? My MIL says with her first baby she'd always prop her up standing against a couch when she tried to crawl (in an effort to avoid the shoelace fuzz mess-ness) and that baby ended up walking before she ever really got to crawl. I'll just TRY to enjoy whatever stage he's in, because so far the stages are flying by me like thieves in the night.

And perfectly on cue, too!
Abby is crawling now, everywhere- don't be in a hurry! A crawling baby changes your life in big, big ways...
