I found these black chandalier light fixtures at Voldemart for $6 each. Since the "designers" of our apartment complex didn't see fit to have any built-in light fixtures (brilliant, no?).... we have been left to our own devices for light. I like the drama/contrast of this, and I'm working on ideas for a shade for the actual light bulb..... the wheels are turning.
I will not be living in a poorly contructed, poorly designed apartment forever, but most days it feels like I will.

I've always wondered why the geniuses who build apartments and the house I currently live in think that people don't need light after the sun goes down. This isn't Little House on the Prairie. We have electricity. Maybe they just don't know about it yet. Or maybe they're just too cheap to care. Yeah, that's it.
Six bucks??? That's awesome! I love it.
Yeah! What is with these apartment designers. It's not like my building is that old. They had electricity in the 60's for heaven's sake. We have outlets. Why not light fixtures?
That chandelier is so cute. Can't beat $6!
