Everything is Illuminated finally made it to the top of my Netflix queue. Wow. Um, Wow. Haven't seen such wonderfulness in such a long time. Fantastically compassionate film. Still had a few comedic quirks in the same spirit as Little Miss Sunshine, but emerged with far more dignity and humanity intact. Such a lovely piece of melancholy that it managed nearly to take the ache out of the melancholy aspects of itself.
Watch it when you have time to think about it for hours afterward, I feel certain it will not disappoint.

Holy cow, someone else who finally realizes what a great movie this was. Upon seeing it, it quickly rose to become one of my favorites.
