Has anyone else seen this? They are taking one of my all-time favorite german films and turning it into a Catherine Zeta-Jones flick. Oh I am experiencing MAJOR trepidation! What if she blows holes in my ship?!?!
Please oh please oh please let her pull it off so that the original doesn't lose any of the respect it deserves!

I saw previews for that the other day, and I'm excited to see it. I had no idea that there it was a repeat. I'll have to go find the German one and then compare notes.
Ok, I love the original, too. Totally understand the fear. I was quite surprised at the trailer, though; it seemed to be very close to the original, even maintaining quite a bit of the same dialog. But maybe that is just the part they put in the trailer!
