I am a rather intense person. Somebody's father-in-law once asked me to my face whether I was intense and I had to answer yes. without hesitation.
80% of the time I'm fine with the way I am. But the down side is that I'm always fretting about something.
And sometimes it's just not appropriate to fret.
Sometimes you're supposed to just be calm and ok.
And I stink at it.
Where do I start?

I apologize for my FIL. :) But he does get down to the nitty-gritty, don't he?
I think that, like with most habit- or personality-trait-changes, you fake it til you make it. That's what works for me, anyway. I fake it until one day it's part of my nature.
PS: are you back from Detroit? I came a-knockin...no answer. Hope you were napping!!
And also, 2nd PS: being intense is definitely a good thing.
