I've been so much in recovery mode for the last 2 weeks, and Oliver has been growing up way too fast. I think he's glad to be home, and he's loving his own bed again. He loves shoes, mine,
Renn's, his, doesn't matter. He'll try to put them on his feet, but still tries to put them in his mouth as well. It's like a confluence of baby/
toddlerdom. I haven't been taking pictures the way I ought to, but since I'm doing pretty well conquering other vices, and staying busy doing mostly good things, I can't get too upset with myself.

Oliver has discovered the buttons on the front of the television and loves to turn it off, then go sit on the couch as though he were watching it. Cracks me up. He's still really good about eating anything I give him, but his teeth aren't keeping up with his desire to self-feed. With just 6 teeth, he can bite really well, but can't quite chew. A lot of solid foods are coming out again, recognizable. So I have to spoon feed him a lot more than he would like. He's finally warming up to the idea of drinking (cow) milk.

He's forced me to very reluctantly cut his napping down to once a day. He dives for his pillow when he's tired. (Yes he sleeps with a pillow, he's always slept better with his head elevated....
weird, I know.) He
loves his daddy. He gives some pretty incredible hugs, but still has stranger anxiety when "strangers" get
too "in his face". He has discovered the joys of being a boy with a cardboard box to play with. He loves pressing
little buttons that
do things.

He still gets a hysterical thrill from going up or down the stairs to the apartment when mom or dad is coming behind him. He runs everywhere, but is still a bit clumsy. His little calves look pretty battered, not to mention his face. He rarely cries when he gets hurt, but gets big welling
alligator tears when we take his toothbrush away. He loves to watch the "big kids" play, and when he tries to join them he can't understand why they don't dote on him like adults do. I'm still trying to figure out how such a big personality ever fit inside of me.

He is absolutely adorable! He reminds me a lot of my little boy. This is such a fun age (post 12m and before the terrible twos really hit). I'm impressed you can get such good pictures of him. It's so hard when they're always moving.
The pictures are fantastic! He's such a sweet little man. I agree. This stage is so great. I kind of want to stay here for a while and enjoy.
The last one is my favorite. So cute.
I love that last one too! This is really great.
His big personality totally comes through in all his pictures...adorable!
I love that last picture of him. He's so stinkin' cute!
