When it came right down to it I was a slacker this Halloween. Nothing particularly clever came out of my corner. And today I was rather glad I had no big plans, because I am SO out of steam. I did manage to get a photo of Mr Renn sort of/almost wearing his pirate costume,

and Sir Oliver threw a tissy fit at the sight of his lion costume, so we found a plan B in
last year's costume. Oh well. Not feeling like picking any battles tonight. And you know what, I don't think anybody knew the difference for all the battles I chose not to pick. I suppose I should be a slacker more often.

I'm still in the process of learning that a lot of the things that I worry about no one even notices. Why is that fair?
I love that he and Cole are really friends now. (I linked back to last year's post.)
He looks so happy to be a ghost. At least he wore the lion costume once and you got pictures.
You're not the only one, Em! I "dressed up," like- put lipstick on and earings and a necklace and my "nicest" outfit (which wasn't a dress, heaven forbid!). It was a last minute idea. And nobody got it. Oh well. At least I felt nice.
