Well, it's about time I un-break, isn't it?
The landmark I set for returning to blogging is forever running away and being elusive, so I might as well start without it. My reason for taking a break has gotten itself out of my system by now.
Sir Oliver has been a full handful of delight and emotion.
I threw a few parties. A baby shower and a Valentine's party (because I love Valentine's Day, remember?) And I think they both went well. My well is pretty dry at the end of it all though, and I'm ready to lay low. My apologies, but that means this will be my first year not mailing out valentines. I know, makes me sad too.
I've had some wonderful, peaceful epiphanies the last few weeks though. I feel I'm in a very good place. I feel really good about where I am; that I'm at home, creating and being home for the people I love most. I'm doing better at prioritizing people over projects, and it makes all the difference in the world with Sir O. I think he literally likes me better like this. He sure laughs more. Now, to maintain it all, there's the rub.
