DC and pregnant ladies

Mr Renn, Sir O and I woke up obscenely early Monday morning to join our guests in Washington D.C.
I did sleep half of the way there in the car, but still...
I finally, after at least 10 years of longing, got to visit the Holocaust museum. Too bad we had Sir O in tow, he certainly deflected from the whole experience, for all of us plus those unlucky enough to be in his vicinity during the exhibit. We probably could have stayed there 4 or 5 times longer to experience everything if he'd not been with us, but alas, there was no alternative. (We also waited in line for an hour to see the National Archives)
I did not wear sensible shoes. I managed to stave off a potentially nasty blister with a bandaid, but I'm afraid my ankles are going to ache for days.

We did, however, manage to find SOMETHING to do in Washington DC that can entrance a nearly-two-year-old.

Leave it to children to fall in love with the simplest things that we so often forget. Hopefully you'll be able to go back there again before Mr. Renn is finished out there. And, may I say, you look great! Especially considering how you must have been feeling.

I'm so glad you got to see the Holocaust Museum. It's amazing. You were definitely brave to try it with O. It's so hard to do things like that with kiddos. I'm sure Peanut would have been screaming and yelling and running all over the place. Glad you found some ducks he could enjoy after.

The Holocaust museum is really neat. I've cried every time I've gone! I'm glad you were able to go.
