Good News: Oliver did pretty well at the Dentist for a 2 year old (considering shortly after our arrival Mr Renn accidentally knocked Sir O's head into the dentist's work lamp - ouch). Great looking teeth (other than the chipped one...) was the verdict. Good news for a dentist's progeny. Sir O likes his new toothbrush too. After the 30 minutes had passed for his fluoride treatment, Mr Renn and Sir O shared a smoothie. It was cute.
Then we had to go straight to the ultrasound appointment, and Sir O had to join us. It made for a very different experience from last time. On the other hand, it was kind of fun to have Sir O there to show him his new baby. Here is the baby waving hello to us.
We had a bit of a struggle getting a good profile shot, but I told you I knew this child was going to cooperate. (This premonition does not extend past birth, by the way)
And, much to Sir O's delight, the verdict was:
We sort of coerced our way into an inordinate amount of ultrasound photos. I was pretty proud of myself. Now to start arguing about names! (And we will, mark my word.)

Sir O gets a partner in crime! So happy for you guys.
It’s Jamie (DuBose) Pickett. I hope you don’t mind, I ran across your blog on Ambers. I wanted to say congratulations, how exciting! Your family is adorable.
Yay, another little sir O! Congrats, I'm so excited for the both of you. :)
Ahh!! Yay for boys!!
Congrats!!! I knew it!:) You look so cute by the way!:)
2 boys is SO much fun. So excited for you!!!! Don't you love that you have all boys stuff??? I loved that. Except my younger one had a complete different figure, so I still had to buy all new clothes.
Congrats!! That's so exciting! Good luck with the name game :)
Oh, that is so cute. We ended up in the same predicament of having a 2 year old at our ultrasound. It was cool to have the whole family in the room. Hopefully you know better and won't leave your pics in a hot car for them to be ruined by the heat!
Yay! I'm glad it went smoothly, especially since you ended up taking O. You look completely fabulous.
I keep meaning to make a dentist appointment for the three of us, but it just hasn't happened yet. I'm also a bit concerned about how Peanut will deal.
Yay! Another boy for you, and think of all he romping that will take place. Actually, maybe you don't want to think about that just yet, you're probably tired enough just growing that little life. Congrats, and I agree, you look super fab, you make such a cute pregnant lady, one who just looks like you put a basketball up your shirt.
Congratulations! Another little guy as cute as Oliver. Thanks for sharing the pics. I'm sad I missed you the day you were in Boston bye-the-way. I hope you had fun!
Congrats! I can't wait to hear what you decide to name him! It looks like you had a fun trip last week! I'm jelous, I want to go to Boston! That's next on the list :)
Congrats! Two boys first is a great way to start. I love having boys.
Hey, that is SOO cool! I was just scrolling up and down the comments trying to find mine. I haven't left one yet!!! (I think I looked really fast at it and had to go so I couldn't leave a comment. I specifically came on the computer to see if you had posted it yet, and you had... and then I had to go.)
I am soo thrilled for you! (p.s. my inkling was right!)
I, too, can't wait to hear what clever name he gets!
CONGRATULATIONS!!! Now Oliver will always have a playmate once the new little guy gets older. Im so happy for you guys. Thanks for the letter also. We got it yesterday. Miss you!
Oh congrats on the news. I am sure Sir O is thrilled to have a little brother on the way.
