Not only was Mr Renn born, but the movie
The Black Stallion was released.
Yesterday Sir O watched it 3 times in a row.
I think he's in love.
I always hoped my kids would love this movie. It's perfect for the not-entirely-verbal set because the first 40 minutes of the movie contain less than 5 minutes of dialogue. It's all visual communication, which is exactly what they understand.
Besides which, it was fantastic to have something non-{obnoxious &} animated hold his attention.
Tender mercy, wanted to share.

I loooove this movie! I haven't seen it in AGES. I might have to dig myself up a copy of this...
hmm. I think I didn't see that movie until I was in my teens, and I was way bored. But it makes me happy that somewhere some other people really enjoyed it!
