This morning, after cleaning my bathroom (yeah, finally) I decided that Sir O was way too stir-crazy for his own good.
So I took us all outside.
Luckily it's a gorgeous day.
(Unlike Saturday, when we got rained out of our family photo session)
We went for a walk without a stroller.
Which really, for me, is kind of kamikaze.
Luckily we only had one or two instances of Sir O's bones evaporating, with much flopping and wailing involved.
(And unluckily the camera battery died after only two fuzzy photos)
But we made it back intact. (Albeit my left arm hates me now)
With a collection of leaves, sticks, and acorns.
I think a craft is in order.
Do I dare introduce Sir O to glue?

Fun! I like nature walks like that minus the sore arm and the flopping boy. Also, for glue, I recommend squeezing a bunch of white glue onto a paper plate and letting him use a paintbrush to glue thing to a paper. More control that way.
Oh, so much fun! I love those kinds of triumphs. Look at you: cleaning your bathroom AND going on a nature walk! I'm highly impressed and totally inspired.
And thank you for your comment on our blog. It really means a lot!
Oh, and Clay and I are currently scouring our calendars for a time to get together with you! We'll let you know as soon as we can...
Im sure Oliver was in heaven! Free! Glad it was a good time for all and good luck with the glue! =)
