I've been at Alt Summit most of this week and am totally trying to recover from a complete and utter sensory overload of beautiful things and impressive humans. I'm actually cuddling with Bunny mostly, she developed an ear infection while I was away. But while I indulge in a catatonic state, here's some of my best finds from last week:
- What music does for your brain - finding that music training makes you well-rounded in multiple measurable ways.
- "no one should be constrained by the assumption that men and women necessarily have different priorities and values." What Ruth Bader Ginsburg taught me about being a Stay-at Home Dad.
- The actual statistics about divorce are improving, for the middle class and those with college educations anyway.
- Beyond tempted to fit the Upstream Field Guide into my life. Think I can schedule some date night-ins? Mr Renn and I could use some guided goal setting and some tools for avoiding overwhelm.
- 5 reasons why (pointlessly) gendered products are a problem.
- A really brave post on postpartum depression. (I love that more of these exist, but I'm always on the look out for more posts about antepartum depression, which has been my personal nemesis.)
