Ta-Da....my day

I wasn't really keeping this a secret on purpose... I just haven't had time to think about it. I woke up at 4:30 this morning so I could go with my neighbors to NYC and be in the audience of the Martha Stewart Show. Holy whirlwind of crazyness! (Another pre-makeover shot, obviously)

Funny thing is, that leaving Sir Oliver for that long was way more of a "big deal" than going to NYC or seeing Martha. I survived, and I'm fairly certain he did too. We'll have to see if his day off from mom proves to be a help or a hindrance in our battle against impending separation anxiety.
Oh, and P.S. that cool green orchid that you see behind Martha is a new species that they named after her..... you heard it here first!

How freakin' cool is that!! I love that show, even if I don't particularly care for Martha herself. She has some awesome ideas and really is quite a talented, creative lady. Isn't it fun to live in such a cool place where you can see such cool things?

I'm sure oliver survived your absence, even if it wasn't happy for him.. ((hugs))

Wow. I wish I could just pick up and go to NYC for the day. Total jealousy.

How fun is that?! Do the episodes air the same day they are taped? When will it be on? Not a big fan of Martha, but I love some of the things she comes up with.

Oh, it's a live show, it aired yesterday. There was a tape delay for Mountain and Pacific time, but September through May it's usually taped the same day it airs, then some days they tape 2 episodes so that they have things to air between May and September....

Except for the 2 week break in April she's taking to go see her husband shot into space with Russian Cosmonauts......

And now you know.

HOW COOL!!!! Wow, I want to pick up and go to NYC to see Martha... or heck, for any reason!

Babies are amazingly resilient- and it's good for Mama to get away sometimes, too. Happiness for all.

I wish I had watched yesterday.

I didn't know she got married!

Martha's currently trying to trademark the name of her hometown (Katonah, NY), but the town is putting up a fuss about it. Go figure.
