Conjunctivitis = Ornery Oliver

FYI: Conjunctivitis = "pink eye"; inflammation of the membrane that lines the eye and the inner surface of the eyelids. Inflammation may be due to an irritant in the air, a viral infection, or a bacterial infection. (Definition courtesy of this book.)

So when your doctor diagnoses your baby with "conjunctivitis"... it isn't actually a diagnosis at all, it's just a symptom of whatever is really wrong. Wish I'd know that about 10 hours ago.

Also wish the doctor had prescribed eye drops that my insurance would pay for, or that I could have gotten a hold of a human being when I found out that was an issue so that Sir O could get some relief before....whenever.

Grrrrrrr.

I feel so bad for the both of you guys. But mostly for Oliver.

Oh, dear! That is so sad! Poor Oliver. That's just miserable!

Good luck with the insurance thing. We all know what a *stinking pile o' fun* that is.

that's weird. My brother in Hershey AND my sister in NJ and their families all have pink eye right now. Must be an epidemic out there!
I'm so sorry.
