Does anybody feel up to the task of explaining this to me? Should I be flattered, upset, feel violated? What is this? So confused.

i have no idea... maybe it's a joke... or maybe the government is in on everything...or maybe you should buy some of your own stalk and you could make it go up by putting more incoming messages or something... i really don't even know. -Madie

What is that about? Very strange.
Okay, so I poked around a little and here's what their site says:
"BlogShares is a fantasy stock market for weblogs. Players get to invest a fictional $500, and blogs are valued by incoming links."
I'm still a little confused about WHY, but at least now I have an idea of WHAT.
How very odd. I echo HSH- why would anyone want to that?
