Ok, well he's not really "mine" per-say. I've been making a super conscious effort to remember I am his mother and his steward, not his owner. He is very much his own person.
And right now his own person is really into tearing the house apart. fast. and furious.
But if I point to his feet and tell him to go and get his shoes, he reappears with two matching shoes and sits very still while I put them on him. I'm telling you, he's really really got a thing for shoes. He's also started filling Renn's shoes (that he happens to leave all over the house) with anything he can fit inside of them, for example:
I think we may have a fetish on our hands. But for now he is napping, just long enough for me to bring a semblance of order back to the house, ...and write this post.

So is Renn responsible for putting away all of the stuff in the left out shoes?
Oliver could be practicing for Santa duties. He's so handsome.
I like the point that you made about Oliver being his own person. We've gotta plan our outing to your place so we can see this shoe fettish for ourselves.
He's sooo stinkin' cute, love those little cheeks!
I absolutely LOVE one-year-olds.
He really is so adorable. When BL started making super big messes, I started teaching him how to clean and it has helped a lot with making less messes. It is a lot of hands on, you walking them through it but he's already starting to do it by himself.
Em, I thought I had it bad when it came to babies making messes, but I'm sure it's gotta be much worse when it's a little guy who RUNS!!!!
