Today is the first day in a long-old-time that the temperature is not supposed to reach near 90 degrees here. Maybe Fall can finally start.
Mr Renn heads to a boy-scout camp right after he gets home from school today. Any ideas on how to keep one's self and one's kiddo happy and occupied while the daddy is away?

Look at all the pretty fall leaves!! Every year at this time I seriously wish I lived in the East with all the gorgeous colors all around.
As for time occupation ideas? I don't have many. Just the normal stuff we do every day. Sorry. I'm not terribly helpful.
Love the pictures of sweet little Sir O.
I'm not much for fun activity ideas. I usually drown my sorrows in some tasty treats.
I love the pictures of Sir O!!! You are so skilled with that camera of yours. I wish I knew how... oh well, maybe if I got a new and better camera, eh?
Um, you are my inspiration when it comes to filling in empty time without dad around. Blow bubbles?
I used to dislike scout camp. When Rob went to scout camp it was over the 4th of July. He took my car, leaving me to fit 3 children in his 2-door, un-airconditioned car. (I was not happy.) While he was gone I saw a mouse run into my kitchen and disapear behind my cupboards. I attempted to catch it with glue-traps but I was petrified of what would happen if I actually did. I wish you luck in your scout camp quest. I certainly empathize.
Oliver is darling and the fall leaves look divine.
Put Oliver down early and have a night of chick flicks without guilt or funny looks. :-)
If it makes you feel any better, I'm on a business trip in Ft. Worth Texas on the 1st day of OCTOBER!, and the air temp was 93 degrees and because of humidity the heat index was 101!
