Eve-ing

Tonight is Christmas Eve at our house. We are SO not packing all of that on the plane with us! So we're having 2 Christmases. Lucky us. The table in the foreground above is for Sir O. I know it's not the most exciting present, per se, but I think he's going to get a lot of blissful use out of it. (So look for a really fun pseudo-Christmas morning post coming up)

The project that kicked my behind is now finally behind me. I failed (with a little help from my debilitated sewing machine) and Tracy saved me. She rocks.... not only for saving me from across the country, but for working herself to pieces to get this done in time for Ari's baby...... after I gave her some "misinformation" about the due date.

I know she had a zillion other things to get done for the holidays. Sometimes I just suck. And Tracy, she totally rocks my world. If anyone has ideas for how to adequately thank people who go way above and beyond.... please let me know.

Um, I think moving closer to them is a good way to say "thank you" because then you can be by them all the time, but I know that isn't really a possibility right now. :)

I totally agree! Tracy DOES rock!!

You all can move up here! Yay! Houses are affordable, and out dentist is going to retire in a few years, and is looking for (and I quote) a young whippersnapper to take over his practice!! Just sayin...

Glad to have helped- I hope they were good enough- I know they didn't come out perfect, but like you said, that thick cord, even with a piping foot on my Bernina, was a bear to work with.

Your ribbon looks much much prettier than the one I threw on it!
