About 3 months ago I started perusing the internet to see what the realm of double strollers looks like.
(Because despite being pitifully poor, I am picky)
I found a magnificent steal of a deal on Craigslist for a (like new) Bumbleride QueenB stroller, and almost bought it without consulting Mr Renn.
But I DID consult Mr Renn, and since he hates to spend money, he convinced me we should wait and see if we really need a double stroller before making such a big purchase.
So the fabulous steal of a deal passed before my eyes, never to return.
I still regret that one.
In that spirit I entered a giveaway for a Bumbleride double stroller today. I never enter giveaways, but at least now I'll never have to wonder if I might have won if only I'd entered....
Sometimes the line between want and need is so fuzzy.

Ugh. It's like my search for the perfect, inexpensive crib. If only we weren't so picky, right?
Double stroller is a must. You will need it. It is not a want, it is a need.

We have the duo-glider from Target, it was about $120, I think. It is not perfect, but it perfectly suits me!
That is such a fantastic stroller! I'm sad you missed out on the killer deal. I'm crossing my fingers you win the drawing, though. I've been wondering about getting a double stroller, too. There are so many options and so many things to consider. I really like that Bumbleride, though.
YOu need to let Mr. Renn take the two kids out on his own, and then he'll come home saying Ok it's a need. Because it really is a need! I love having mine. Now mine isn't as cute, but it's good, and I love that both my kids have a place to sit so I can have a free hand. So good luck, I hope you win, if not well then good luck with Mr. Renn!
Not that you need another person saying this, but coming from another poor student family to another...it's a NEED!
Tell Mr. Renn next time to consult a mother of two. A double stroller is a definitive need...unless of course you like staying home all the time. I've never heard of the Bumbleride...I'll have to check it out. Good luck finding a sweet deal on a sweet stroller.
I can tell you this - don't get a double stroller. We have one and I can tell you it isn't worth it. Get a sit and stand stroller - those are definitely worth it. If you feel like you need a double - you can borrow ours!! (I'm serious about that too).
