Of boys and heads of hair
More than one person has begun referring to us as "Em and the boys".
I'm finding I can be quite fond of boys.
But the thing is, or has been for me, that boys seem to require frequent haircuts.
Especially those that come out of me.
The Captain is almost 11 weeks old and has had 2 haircuts.
Sir O is 2 and 1/2 and has had far more than I can number.
And Mr Renn likes his hair so short that he wants it cut nearly every other week.
Unfortunately I hate cutting hair. (Nor am I especially adept at it, but let's not go there...) Especially on squirming miniature heads. And I can't at this time afford to make someone else do it.
But someday......
Just saying.

Yes, but oh how nice they look with a clean cut! I love the picture!
"Em and the boys" I love it! I hear you on the haircutting. I feel like I'm always cutting NYDD's. I *should* cut Peanut's more. I just don't. And since she doesn't complain about it I guess we're okay.
Oh Em, I wish we lived closer. I would be happy to trim those tresses. The boys in my fam also require constant hair cuts. With D and Ridge born with full heads of hair I have been cutting miniature heads for the last 5 years!
Best of luck with trimming the troops!
I feel the same way about boys haircuts! I know it's much easier to do a boy's hair on Sunday morning than a girls and I should be glad to have one, but the haircuts come about 10 times as often as for girls, so I don't think it's much easier in the long run! And I too dream about taking the kids to get their hair cut somewhere someday...
OH I'm with you on the endless haircutting for boys! Trey has always had perfect hair, and with that come a lot of cutting. Not by me, then it wouldn't be so perfect. So what can I say it's not fun, and not cheap, but be glad they have hair!!! It just makes them cute... and just think one day soon you'll enjoy just paying for them!
Haircuts....urghhh! Usually once every 2-3 weeks, and all on the same day. Live in misery one day every few weeks, and that is it. It still feels like a lot!
