Christmas Carol Spotlight: The Posada

Mr Renn having served his mission in Mexico, and myself being so easily enamored with any and all traditional pageantry that can be associated with the Holidays, I fell in love with the idea of Posadas in about .08 seconds flat.  I'd love to organize one of my own someday.

But because I live where Christmas falls in the thick of Winter weather, a traditional outdoors procession is out of reach.  Until I find a perfect solution, I can work on becoming familiar with the traditional music of Las Posadas.  The most accessible version I've found is a snippet from the Search for Lodging in this medley by the MoTab.  But if the Spanish is no barrier for you, I like this one as well.
