Last Year's leprechaun treasure hunt was pretty tough to beat. But the kids remembered that, and the expectation was there, so I had to try. (I went easy on myself and did NOT bake anything remotely rainbow-ed this year). At the last and most opportune moment, Jordan Ferney posted
this idea, and I loved it and I ran with it.
With a rainbow yarn trail,
I the leprechaun only had to write one poem, and the treasure hunt took off. I wish you could have seen the ridiculous adorableness of our gentleman toting along behind his brothers.
They woke up to a rainbow attached to their doorknob and a poem informing them of the "rules" (aka - don't make a tangled mess of the yarn please)
Then they just had to follow it all over the house to find hidden treasures of the green variety
And at the end of the rainbow....
Yarn rainbow - salvaged for next year. Helping a leprechaun out.
