Merry Christmas to everyone. I hope it's a kind holiday this year. We could all use some new fantastic memories, if you ask me.
Renn is a little uptight about this being our last Christmas "alone" together. But it's kind of sweet, he doesn't want a single thing to go wrong (other than my barfing adventures - those cannot be helped)
We'll be spending the next 3 days seeing more of our extended families than we see any other time of the year. It's exciting and daunting all at once.
Last night we made an appearance at a shindig for Renn's Mother's family at a church. We were the sole representatives as neither his parents nor any of his siblings showed up (I fear I married into a crowd of party poopers). Other than one mad moment that involved coughing so hard I was curled up in a dark corner barfing into a heater vent, I made it out alive.
On that light and happy note, I hope everyone has a great holiday!
