Sympathetic Sighs

So my dad's been spending most of this week tracking down and euthanizing baby birds, not his favorite thing. In fact he's downright bummed out. A lot of people are freaking out about how inhumane it is, and frankly the poor vets who have to do it probably agree. But the cost to test and/or vaccinate thousands of birds is astronomical, and where would the money come from? It's all politics and money, making the world go round. Saddish week.
