I'm trying to get ready for the next 6 weeks.
But honestly, I don't even know where to start, and a big part of me is in denial.
My 12yr old sister is coming to visit in 1 week, she'll hang out here for 2 weeks and then we all fly out to Utah like mad hatters....for a month.
And while we are there....birthday party...camping....
So.... what should I do first? I don't even have a to-do list yet!

Throw some stuff in a bag and run! Yay for vacation and family!
If I were in your shoes, I don't know if I'd want a to-do list. I'm big on spontaneity. I don't get it whole lot though.
Of course, that's just me.
Might I suggest a lets-do-this-if-we-feel-like-it list?
Get rid of any obligation and just do what you want. You're on vacation, after all.
Em, one thing's for sure, you're coming to our place for dinner one night. If not that, then we'll have to ATLEAST meet at Barnes Park or Layton Park or SOME park. Let me know with atleast a day's notice so I can clean my house!
I'm a big fan of spontaneity in most cases, but month-long-baby-toting seems like something that requires more planning ahead. Babies don't appreciate it when your spontaneity results in their lack of comfort and such.
And oh, the ways this is going to mess up his baby-routine!
I sort of dread that.
Wahoo! In my (limited) experience there's little you can do to really prep for the routine interruption, so just keep being in denial as long as you can. I've been told it gets worse when they're teenagers, but I hardly believe it. :)
And give me stroller advice.... You have a Maclaren Volo? Did it come with a canopy? Does it do the job, or is it too small?
