Soundtrack-ness

Nope, I have not been tagged. I was just listening to music today and I felt like doing this really old meme. Just out of curiosity. It's been around the block a few times, but it's never been here. And I share the "pod" with Mr Renn....

Soundtrack of your Life
The RULES:
1. Open your library (iTunes, Media Player, iPod, Winamp etc.)
2. Put it on shuffle.
3. Press play.
4. For every question, type the song that’s playing.
5. When you go to the next question, press the next button.
6. Don’t lie and pretend you’re cool.

A. Opening credits: The Background; Third Eye Blind fair enough
B. Waking up: Long Time; Boston wow....that song seems highly incompatible with snooze-buttoning, are we sure this movie isn't about Mr Renn?
C. First Day of School: Power of Two; Indigo Girls aw, I'm sure there is some way that could be seen as sweet.
D. Falling in love: Caladito; Mana Heck, why not fall in love in Spanish?
E. First song: Bleed; Collective Soul Intense....
F. Breaking up: Lie in our Graves; Dave Matthews Band Well, at least it's not a happy song.
G. Prom: Country Road; James Taylor That would have been an uber-mellow prom. Probably better than any of the ones I actually attended.
H. Life: China Roses; Enya A little melancholy and surreal for my real life.
I. Mental breakdown: Baba O'Riley; The Who - PERFECT!
J. Driving: Guilty; Amelie Soundtrack - Aw, a nice old-fashioned drive
K. Flashback:Kathy's Song; Simon and Garfunkel - Wow, that is a flashback, isn't it? Or a dream.
L. Getting back together: Can't stop loving you; VanHalen - Definitely a Renn song...but appropriate.
M. Wedding: Consider the Lilies; MoTab - Hee hee, can you imagine?
N. Birth of a child: After All; Chicago - um....the lyrics make no sense, but at least it's earnest.
O. Final battle: Too much love ; Bread - Another great one. Although playing over a "battle" it would be terribly ironic.
P. Death scene: To be with you; Hoobastank - Wow, that's an intense angry-type funeral. Obviously I didn't plan it.
Q. Funeral song: My Shepherd shall supply my need; MoTab - So how do you suppose we would transition from Hoobastank to MoTab? Anybody?
R. End credits: Recovering the Satellites; Counting Crows - We can end with Counting Crows....acoustic even. that's ok with me.

Well, we got I & O just right, a few passables, and a bunch of ironics or off-the-walls. But I sure had a fun time sprinting from the computer to the ipod dock in the living room (and back) and hurdling over Sir Oliver in the middle!
