fizzling out

I am one of a tiny minority of people who are starting to think summer ought to be over already. It seems like it shouldn't be humanly possible for me to still be living out of a suitcase. Luckily the company has been good.

I am pooped.

We woke up and left around 5am, and didn't arrive in Detroit until well after 4pm. We were making really good time until the last 30 miles when we hit some ridiculous construction traffic.

11 hours in the back seat with your neck in the sun would make any mamma cranky, right?

Sir Oliver has started climbing, and it follows that he has started busting his face on a semi-regular basis.

My nerves are shot.

The rest of the family is watching "Wild Hogs" and I am trying to opt out, but with 11 of us in a 2 bedroom house, there's really nowhere to "opt out" to.

Here's hoping a good night's sleep will set me aright.

I am way past ready for summer to be over. Mostly the deadly heat is my worst annoyance.
However, the end of summer also means the end of skateboarding juveniles outside my bedroom window all day, every day. (Or for me, all night, every night.)

Oh man. I'm about 3-4 hours south of you right now. And my house is silent. And the a/c is cold. :)

Oh. Oh oh oh. I'm ready for it to be over, just reading your adventures. This summer kept us at home, since the home purchase left us broke. You have been on the go for too long!

I'm exhausted for you.

I am more than ready for fall! Any chanve of rain makes me happy. You are going to need a season just to recover from all your fun! However, 11 people in your apartment doesn't sound like much fun to me.

wow, I'm tired for you. I don't know how you manage it. One thing is for sure, you're doing a much better job at it than I ever could.

How fun!(????) I'd be at my wits end if I were you. It's no wonder you're ready for summer to be over! You've had a HECKUVA summer! It seems like it's been forever since you visited us, which was just over a month ago. (I'm sure you feel the same way, with your days being full like mine!)

You must be sooooo exhausted! You've had a wild summer of going, going, going. I hope school brings you some kind of rest.
