Mr Renn elected to stay home from school today. A couple of things factored into this. It was probably the first day in a long stretch where it was even an option. After those nasty midterms he is pretty worn out. Plus our neighbors were treking to The Shady Maple for Ginnie's birthday. So it's been a nice, quiet family day.
Breakfast was an obscene calorie-fest per usual.
Then after some mid-day studying, Mr Renn proposed we all go out for a walk. Sir O is immensly attracted to mud. But it was a nice time despite that (and I actually got the muddiest).
And Mr Renn found some cool mushrooms he wanted to share. Here you go.

I feel your pain about the weather. I just get so down when the sun hasn't shone in what feels like forever. I'm so glad things are perking up. I about died laughing at the pictures of Sir O' fully dressed in the bath. Oh the joys of motherhood.
Looks like a fun day of playing hookie! (is that how you spell that?) Your little boy looks so much like you!
