33 Weeks (out of 39 it seems)

Is it possible that I've gotten smaller? I guess I just look more compact since everything is dropping lower and lower. I can no longer sit down without spreading my knees a ways, and even then my protruding belly rests heavily on my legs. And there are still lots of internal dance parties; my ribs are apparently the perfect dance floor. That's all okay though, because he'll only be harder to please once he's out here. Plus it indicates he's healthy. I'm smart enough to be happy about that. (My back may not be happy, but I am)

I cannot decide if my tremendous emotional association of holidays with certain foods is valid, or if it's just the pregnancy talking. If I were to make a list of things I love about the holidays right now, 80% of the list would be edible. Is that bad? Am I alone?
(PS, found drinking chocolate for 60 cents/ounce here thanks to glittersmama... looks like they're out at the moment)

Ummm, no you're not alone with your love of edibles. When people ask me what I miss most about South Africa, the list starts with candy, moves on to sweets, lingers slightly on savouries, then returns to desserts. Every now and then I throw in a little something cultural - like an ethnic dish or two. You are definitely not alone on that one.

By the way, you're looking fab. I was huge by this stage. I can't believe how far along you are already. Hang in there, this part will be over all too soon and then the real fun starts.

I went to the Utah Chocolate Show this weekend. Deliciousness abounded.

We tried a new product called Choffy. They had to reassure EVERYONE at the show that is was not and in no way coffee.

Erm, I don't recommend it. Even with sweetener and creamer, it just tasted like sweetened creamy mud water.

Woohoo! Getting close!

And no, I don't think the holiday-food association is in any way irrational. I feel the same way. Oh, wait, I'm pregnant, too. . . Way to go GM on the drinking chocolate.
