My fellow lemon-lovers will appreciate this recipe: Lemon Curd Marbled Cheesecake. I made the crust with gingersnap crumbs instead of graham cracker, which some people liked and some didn't. It's a very light cheesecake, and it was fabulous with raspberries. I was pleased. Plus I now know how to make my own lemon curd. Chalk one up for the homemaking skills.
And Oliver and I dove in on his Christmas present production yesterday. He decorated the fabric for the bodies with fabric markers and I.... I did everything else. Pattern here, courtesy of The Black Apple. I was lazy and didn't enlarge the pattern, so the dolls are mini (which is fun until you are trying to invert and stuff the itty bitty limbs). Method of face creation is yet to be determined. But a lucky few folks (of the grandparentish sort) will get one of these in their Christmas packages. I could see this becoming a yearly tradition, and quite the collectors item for said grandparentish sorts.

That's a great idea for Oliver Christmas presents.
I love the idea of having O decorate the fabric for the dress. This has been on my list of things to make, they're just so cute! I need to get on the ball and order a kit from her with her own fabric designs. Yours turned out wonderfully! Can't wait to see what you do with the face.
YOU made that cheesecake? That was delicious! And the raspberries made it even better! It was my favorite thing on the dinner table last night!
