Heartbreak of various types

Sir O got to spend a very long last day with his favorite people. He has no way of comprehending that it was the last day. I'm curious in a terribly sad way to see what the coming days are like, with the people he asks for every 20 minutes living much too far away to be a part of his everydayness anymore. (Not to mention how emotional I am tonight... sheesh.) We are in for a long summer. Luckily we will have this video to watch over and over and over.... again.

It sucks when your favorite friends leave. Then it's your turn and it sucks a different way, but then you have something to look forward to. I hope this time isn't too tough for you or Sir O.

I know just how that is and I'm so sad for you. It's rough when those who live by you and become like your family when you're away from your real family move away, too. Next year it will be you who does the moving away. I hope you can make it through the next few months okay and make some new friends when the newcomers arrive. ((hugs))

Aw thats an adorable clip. He sure will love to see that when he grows up...stuck between two cutie girls. Hopefully Graham becomes Oliver's newest buddy as he gets older and they are able to play together....I see that with Claytons girls now and it looks so awesome. Love ya!

Your right heartbreak is the key word here. It still brakes our hearts to be gone and away from everyone. There really is no place like the "Colony". In that I mean no built in friends tell all hours of the day and night, no endless play times running outside all day long etc... It's nice to have a real life now, house, and all that, but I must admite that the endless friends for Trey right outside your door 24/7 is one of a kind in dent. school. Parents don't just sit on there butts all day and let there kids run free like we did out there! Don't ask me why!!!! ha ha. Maybe cuz there is more to life then those good old days. Any ways sorry for the pain, sad days ahead, and trying to get Oliver to understand. I hope summer goes fast just for you! Miss you guys. Good luck. The good news is the last year really does fly by.

We starting to get around to the blogs. We miss you guys and we try not to think about it too much. But when we're settled in and it gets quiet, it'll be hard not to think about it. Who knows what we'll do then...probably cry our eyes out again.

I think poor Oliver is wondering where all his friends keep going every May. Soon enough it will be your turn to move on to the next stage. But it is definately more responsibility than life at the Colony. We actually have to keep up on our house and organize outings instead of just walking outside. Hang in there!!!
