Longwood Gardens

You know, there were only two attractions in Philly that I passionately wanted to see and until yesterday I hadn't managed either of them (the other is the Art Museum). Longwood Gardens was superb! We spent a marvelous chunk of yesterday taking in all the possibilities there, and it was very inspiring. It was unquestionably too much walking for the pregnant lady, and my body kept braxton-hicksing me, but I still enjoyed it! The Italian water garden was incredible and I was super impressed by all the innovative ways to grow fruit and veggies. (Especially indoors.) Definitely a must see for any visitors with any dirt of their own. I'm so glad my cousin gave us a reason to finally go! More photos here.

Those pictures are amazing. I love how green and beautiful it is.I'm sad to say we never made it to Longwood Gardens. So thanks for the fun pictures. Oliver is getting so big. I love his hair cut.

Okay, I'm totally a blog stalker. I promise I'm not creepy or anything, I love looking at your crafty...craftiness. (I really want to try a fondant cake for my son's first birthday...) Anyway, I would have maintained my stalker status, but it's such a small world, I think I know your cousin Rachel. I believe I was in the college ward Relief Society presidency at Utah State back in 03/04. If not, sorry for the mix up. :) Love your blog!

@ Jessica:

Very likely, she's a USU student studying landscape architecture (and some other fun stuff). She just got back from a mission in Brazil and made time to visit us before she heads back to school. I'll pass the word on, thanks for de-lurking!
